Kashmir Crisis
14th Jul 2010
Mother Helpage Worldwide's relief efforts in Indian administered Kashmir.

With the ongoing unrest since last two months, Kashmiri's are living in a fear psychosis because of continous strikes and the curfews which has paralysed the life in Kashmir. Again like the early 90's no schools are running, no medical care facilities,no earnings for the common man and no LIFE.  As per the UN charter no one is allowed to take away an individual's living rights ( Education, Job and other social factors).

Mother Helpage Worldwide through its local office in Kashmir has started a relief operation to help the people of Kashmir. Mother Helpage is intending to start the following :

1- To provide food and medicine to the stranded patients and attendants in the hospitals and medical establishments.

2- Distribution of food parcels to the  poor and needy.

3- Provision of emergency medical services ( Transportation for critically ill, aged and pregnant patients).

4- Providing teachers for running the rural schools during this short period of crises.

Mother Helpage Volunteers in the valley are painstakingly carrying out the much needed work in order to support the people during this time of distress.
