Emergency relief is the biggest challenge for all the humanitarian organisations, to accept this task as one of its speciality needs not only money and manpower but the skills to execute the work in right time with a right approach, otherwise any lenient or sluggish approach will return unsatisfactory results.

Mother Helpage Worldwide being world's one of a few humanitarian organisations having a fully developed department for disaster response which deals with the emergency and relief work through a set professional procedures. Mother Helpage's disaster response department  not only comprises of professionals and skilled volunteers but the latest machinery in terms of helicopters,small planes,sea boats etc.

Our approach to the emergencies is that we are ready for any disaster throughout the year with regular relief exercises, fundraising for the emergencies and the plans of operation in hand. Our professional crew, our air and sea rescue units and the volunteers are alert 24/7 for any kind of emergency.

Our  approach to the emergencies carries a vast difference from others, as not only we respond to the emergencies instantly and with a professional manner but we have introduced an academic aspect to the emergencies were we aware people about the disasters,the warning signs, coping up with the disasters and survival procedures during the acute phases of emergencies. We have started an awareness programme throughout the world in which we organise seminars,community gatherings, or debates in schools or universities to aware people about the disasters and the methods of survival.

We have been tirelessly working for providing the support in terms of emergency relief since last 15 years though we started with a very small scale. Our aim is to reach out to the affected not only to provide the relief services but to carry a humanitarian mission of brotherhood as our team comprises of workers and the volunteers of almost every religion and this is what the teachings of Islam are. We are looking forward to get more support from the institutions, individuals to make this mission of ours a grand success so that we may be able to reach out to those who need us during the time of despair and agony and be able to deliver what our generous donors contributed for the cause.
